Johanna M. Werner graduated from Edinburgh Napier University with a Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honours in Photography. She specialises in Portrait and Documentary Photography.

She was born in Halle (Saale), Germany but has lived in different countries throughout her life. This has created a great interest and passion for different cultures, people and how the places people live in influence them, and the people the places in reverse.
